THE SHOEBOX PROJECT

There’s something so special when we come together.
For years, my mom has taught our family how important it is to give back.
When we had our restaurant Rapinis, we made sure to donate food to the women’s shelter, & any unsold clothing from the shop always goes to @regenbrampton.

Partnering with Tessa from @shoeboxproject_brampton has been so incredible and it fills out hearts to see all of these donations from the community.

Founded in 2011 by four sisters-in-law: Jessica, Caroline, Vanessa and Katy Mulroney, The Shoebox Project for Women is a registered charity that collects and distributes gift-filled Shoeboxes to local women at-risk of or impacted by homelessness.

For the last 10 years, The Shoebox Project has been bringing communities together through the simple act of gift-giving.

This holiday season, fill a standard-sized decorated Shoebox or gift box with approximately $50 worth of gifts and essentials that any woman might enjoy, and include a warm greeting or message of support.

Shoeboxes can include any personal needed items like soap, toothpaste, dry shampoo, and little luxuries like a warm hat, a beautiful journal, and high quality beauty products.

Between November 15 - December 14 you can drop off your gift-filled Shoebox at ReStyle Beauty Boutique and your gifts will be delivered to women at local emergency shelters and women accessing outreach services including:

The Salvation Army Family Resource Centre
The Honourable William G. Davis Centre for Families
Fight 4 Freedom
Freshstart for Women - Roots
Knights Table
Regeneration Outreach

Together, there’s no stopping what we can do.
Let’s continue to ensure all women are seen, valued, and treated with dignity and compassion.
